Description

The Hospitime ICU Bed Electric (7 Function) is designed for intensive care units, post-operative recovery and critical-care wards where nursing staff need to reposition patients quickly, safely and with minimal physical effort.

All seven positions – backrest, knee-rest, Hi-Low height adjustment, Trendelenburg, reverse Trendelenburg and auto-contour – are driven electrically through IP54 splash-protected linear actuators and controlled from a simple patient handset, so a single caregiver can adjust the bed without manual cranking. Calf elevation remains manually operated for fine positioning.

The bed frame is built from M.S. tubing with a 4-section platform top in round perforated CRCA M.S. sheet, finished with pre-treated and epoxy powder coating for corrosion resistance in a hospital environment. Four individually moulded PP side rails carry a bed-angle indicator on both the outer and inner faces, so staff can read the current backrest angle at a glance, and PP head/foot panels include metal inserts with lock and corner buffers to protect walls and equipment during transfers.

The bed moves on 125mm (5″) diagonal-locking castors for stable, controlled movement between wards, with IV rod provision at four locations and urine bag holders on both sides for routine ICU workflows.
